Handmade marmorino tiles
Our Marmorino tiles are handmade on request in our workshop.
They were created in 2003 after a trip to Caltagirone, in Sicily, famous for its terracotta and ceramics. When we got back to Paris with some terracotta tiles, we designed an exclusive technique for lime tiling decoration.
Bespoke colouring, a thousand and one colour
We make our tiles with bespoke colouring, infinite shades and natural camaieu (the light and dark shades mix together) ; they are unique items, especially if they are enriched with frescoes painted decors, engraving (« sgraffito »), metals, patinas or mother-of-pearl.
More irregular than concrete tiles, with a higher matte finish than enameled tiles (and as waterproof), our tiling will seduce and find its place in every bathroom and kitchen.
On the floor, our lime will be replaced with our waxed floated concrete.
A technique similar to Tadelakt
The texture of Marmorino tiles is similar to Tadelakt, a maroccan technique which uses Marrakech lime to cover surfaces up and bring out the beauty of mineral coating.
A bespoke final touch
Each edge of each tile is carrefully hand-finished and dried several days before receiving the adapted treatment.

These tiles were created for a wall frieze in a bathroom. For the rest of the walls, we produced plain tiles in the same shades of pinkish white and turquoise.

Our marmorino tiles are handmade and custom-made in our workshops in Paris and Saint-Cloud.
It takes us a few weeks to complete an order and deliver it to you in the best possible condition, so don’t delay in contacting us to make an appointment or ask us to send you samples.
We have square metres in stock in our workshops, so if you are in a hurry, don’t hesitate to come and see them (but give us a call before you come :)).

Plain tiles (without decoration)
Price excluding VAT per square metre: From £130 (20×20 cm, one colour), but expect to pay £170 for the 10×10 cm format (we prepare our colours for each order, all edges are finished by hand, and there are 100 tiles per square metre of 10×10 tiles).
For special formats (plates, diamonds, scales, Hungarian points, shuttles, hexagons, etc.), expect to pay between €250 and €400 per m².
We recommend that you visit us to choose your shade, colour range and desired finish (preferably by appointment, as we are often away).
We can also send you photos of the tiles you want, send you samples, and create your palette.

Tiles with decoration
All our decorations are handmade and made to order. We can offer you designs that we have created, but you can also ask us to create your own personalised decoration (logo, drawing, symbol, letters, etc.). We will provide you with samples of your designs and colours 🙂

Treatments (included, applied before delivery)
The tiles are delivered treated. We will apply a treatment to the surface that is suitable for their final destination: two-component industrial varnish for floors and kitchens, water repellent and wax for bathrooms.
For bathroom maintenance, use non-abrasive products, re-wax with colourless white wax after a few years, and clean with black soap. After grouting, it is advisable to clean the surface with white beeswax.
