Create a waxed concrete coffee table

Less is more, Weniger ist mehr.
Whether you like the loft or industrial look, the raw, refined, contemporary style, the mix of
different styles is still in vogue and can bring surprising interiors full of character to life
.

Our waxed concrete is perfect for covering a coffee table top, and nothing could be simpler than
creating a structure from a pallet. It is still very trendy today, but what sets us apart is
above all the way we work with the material, the variety of textures possible, and the customisable colours
. We can create materials using waxed concrete, lime and sand, concrete and quartz, and many
others, both mineral and natural.

It’s a great idea for an internship, learning about the material while creating a piece of furniture for your home.
Preparing the base isn’t difficult: you need to screw on castors for practicality and attach
a tabletop (we used a chipboard base).

The colour research allows us to show you how to prepare colours
in bulk, patinas and also how to combine colours.

The course introduces you to the world of materials, trowel application, ironing and
drying times. Finally, we discuss the choice of treatments and their application.

Several people can participate at the same time. The course lasts three days, with the last day taking place a
week later to allow the materials to dry.
Everyone leaves delighted, with a table under their arm… 😉
Here is a glimpse of these days. The table in the photo was awaiting treatment.
